Here's a vinyl reissue of the first album by Chilean legends Los Blops. Originally released in 1970 on the Dicap label, this self-titled work blends folk, rock, psychedelia and Chilean traditions in a unique and wonderful fashion. Using Spanish vocals and instruments s.a. acoustic and electric guitars, flute, organ and xylophone, the band managed to create a mysterious, lost-in-time feel. Known as 'Del Volar De Las Palomas' ('The Flight Of The Doves'), this is the second eponymous album from Chile's legendary psychedelic folk-rock outfit Los Blops. Originally released in 1971, while the band lived in a communal house known as 'Manchufela', it's another superb psychedelic folk-rock offering with a slightly more electrified sound on some of the tracks. Expect great songs, melancholic atmospheres, deep vocals (in Spanish), acoustic and electric guitars, flute, organ, percussion, drums, cello, violin, backward effects and more. 'The Fetch' presents a greatcollection of songs spanning a variety of musical genres with lyrics that are autobiographical, witty and dark. The iconic ROGER DEAN painted the original artwork. Think from Marl, Germany was founded in 1971 by 3 Germans, 2 Hungarians and 1 Czech. The group fused together their different cultures into complex progressive rock featuring flute, violin and guitars in a richly folky and classical intoned style, reminding of bands like It's A Beautiful Day, Pell Mell, but also of Bacillus groups like Omega, Nektar or Epsilon. The album comes with a comprehensive bandstory by drummer Wördehoff and notes by guitarist Pohl adn a lot of rare photos.
